so, luke's back in town, he was on our side of puget sound friday and saturday, then we all headed to forks sunday. here we are on the ferry.

today luke, kristen, salina, emma, avery, race, joe and carmen all went to visit dave at work out at dahlgren's. here we are in the saw shop

dave took some of us out into ingrid's fields to feed the cows. they were hiding in the woods so luke chased them out. they were kind of flighty at that point and didn't actually stick around to eat but stampeded off.

well, we woke up too late on easter morning to do any of the local egg hunts-- poor planning mom and dad! so we did our own. the day before lauren and race (and sarah and annie and jen) came to visit and check out our new house. here are some pics, in kind of unsorted order...

we're on the porch swing on our front porch. our street is a little loop so only cars that are driving to the 15 houses on the loop come through. so kids are often riding bike or roller blading or whatever out in the street which is just fantastic compared to our last place which was on a through-street. i look forward to weekends and summer nights letting the kids play out there and sitting on the swing reading a book or whatever.

going upstairs... i didn't get any pictures of the bedrooms. the master bedroom has a big closet and master bath. emma's room is a nice lavender color and avery's is her favorite color yellow. they were painted those colors already, what luck!

living room/family room. we are not done "putting this room together" but it will probably stay this way for a few months while we save some more money for what we'd really like. probably paint on of the walls etc
